Discotoast is proud to announce the pre-flight launch of VirtualSpaceHotel.com! There are still a few minor tweaks and adjustments planned but with any ongoing project that is to be expected. This microsite, part of the WorldAstronauts.com Network, is the future home of the world’s premier Virtual Space Hotel! As you can see from the design, this project was a lot of fun and drew on several design elements from custom 3D modelling, animated backgrounds and an exciting flash video to welcome the first of a series of network affiliated sites. With the evolution of the internet and content management systems (CMS) becoming the standard, there has been a dramatic rise in “DIY” web maintenance. While these popular management systems give the users a lot of power to create, edit, and manage content there were still some limitations as to what can be accomplished without a creative software suite and at least some rudimentary design knowledge.
